We will not be having a tennis clinic this year. We suggest that you contact Bart Kennedy of the Greeneville Tennis Association or Danny Silvers of the Greene County YMCA for informationon their clinics. We reccomend both as good learning clinics for children of all ages and skills. |

The Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County teamed up with the Greene County tennis Association to hold their a Three Day Tennis Clinic for youth at the Tusculum College Tennis Courts. Over 50 local youngsters participated in this year’s event. The Youth Tennis Clinic is an event held by the Boys & Girls Club that seeks to teach children the fundamentals of a life long sport. “We wanted to have a clinic that started with the basics to teach the youngsters the proper techniques that they can use as they learn the joys of tennis” stated Amanda Waddell, the clinic coordinator. The program was made possible due to the gracious volunteer services of several local tennis enthusiasts including: Cynthia Pectol, Emily Bell, Helen Smith, Brandon Fisher, Matthew Smith, Jessica Jarrell, Bridget Brannan and Amanda Waddell. The Boys & Girls Club is grateful to these members of the Greene County Tennis Association for their commitment to local tennis and to the youth of our community.
