2010 Calendar of Events January 2010
1st - Club Closed- New Year's Day 4th - City and County Schools Out (Hours of operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
5th - City and County Schools return back from Winter Break
18th - City and County Schools Out - Dr. Martin Luther King Day (Hours of operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
19th - City Schools Out for Professional Learning Day (Hours of operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
26th - Chips "Change is Possible" program for ages 10 & up on domestic violence at 4:30pm
28th - A Free Aerobics Class is being offered to both club kids and parents who are interested.
Class time will be from 5:45 pm - 6:30 pm, each Thursday beginning 1/28/2010
February 2010
1st - Give Kids a Smile Day (Dental program with Jan Radar at 4:45 pm)
2nd - Girl Scouts program at 4:30 pm
5th - Gardening program at 4:30 pm
7th - Super Bowl XLIV Party at the club
11th - City Schools Out for Professional Learning Day (Hours of Operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
11th - Torch Club members will visit Laughlin Health Care Center and Life Care Center of Greeneville beginning at 10:30 am
12th-15th - City and County Schools Out for Mid-Winter Break (Hours of operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
12th - Valentine's Day Party at the club
15th - Torch Club members will be helping out at Ferral Friends from 1 pm - 3 pm
16th - Mardi Gras Party at the club
March 2010
2nd - Red Cross America Day
4th - TN Arbor Day Celebration (club members will plant a tree and also participate in an Arbor Day poster contest)
5th - Club Closed for staff training in Knoxville, TN
17th - St. Patrick's Day party at the club
20th - Parenting Fair at Hal Henard School 10 am - 2 pm
21st-27th - National Boys and Girls Club Week
March 29th-April 2nd - City and County Schools Out for Spring Break (Hours of operation 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
March 29th-31 Tennessee Youth of the Year Competition in Nashville, TN

April 2010

23rd-25th - Global Youth Service Day (service project with local food bank)
24th - Pitch, Hit, and Run Competition at Legion Field (10:00 am registration)
24th - Parent Work Day at the club (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)
May 2010
1st - Join Hands Day (a community service project for our club kids and parents)

1st - Kidney Walk at Tusculum College (Registration at 8:30 am, indoor practice facility)

28th & 31st- Club Closed for Memorial Day Weekend
June 2010
1st - Free Moives every Tuesday at Phoenix Theaters for ages 5-9
1st- Swimming at Hardin Park Pool begins for ages 10 & up every Tuesday- cost is $2
2nd- Free Movies every Wednesday at Phoenix Theaters for ages 10 & up
2nd- Swimming at Hardin Park Pool begins for ages 5-9 every Wednesday- cost is $2
2nd- Snowbiz will start coming every Wednesday at 4 pm- slushies will be cost $1.50
11th - TVA Kinser Park Clean-Up with Keep Greene Beautiful
15th- Last day to sign up and pay the $15.00 player fee for the Boys & Girls Club Football League
15th-17th Vacation Bible School
18th- Wetlands Water Park- the cost is $15 per child and a bag lunch will be provided
24th - Dollywood- the cost is $37.00 this includes admission ticket and meal voucher
28th- Youth of the Month at Ryan's Steakhouse
TBA - Boys and Girls Club Football registration begins
July 2010
1st- Pizza Hut Field Trip for ages 8-9 ONLY- the cost is $5 per child
1st - Family Cookout for all club members and their parents (5:00 pm - 7:00 pm)
2nd &5th - Club Closed for the 4th of July Holiday Weekend
8th- Greeneville- Greene County Jr Golf Championship at Nolichucky View Golf Club
8th - Boys and Girls Club Night at Astros Park
16th- Davy Crockett Clean Up with Keep Greene Beautiful
17th - Baseball Skillz and Drillz Day at Astros Park
19th - Jr. Golf Classic at Link Hills
22nd- Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN- the cost is $16.00 per child
23rd- Greeneville Astro players will do a Meet and Greet at the Club- starts at 10 a.m.
24- Football League Parent Meeting at Trinity UMC
29th- Movies in Johnson City and Cici's Pizza- for ages 10 & up ONLY- the cost of the trip is $13.00
30th- Give Kids a Chance Day
30th- Pizza Inn Field Trip- ages 5-7 ONLY- the cost is $5 per child
31st - Astros 5k Road Race

August 2010
